For a single-room dorm, First Street rooms are spacious enough for a small VR playspace and other full body activities—even without a bed loft. The amenities are very nice, which include a study space and two small lounges (both with a kitchen sink, microwave, and TV) on each floor, as well as two laundry rooms (with 2 washers and dryers) that come at no charge. The cleaning staff also come once a week to clean your bathroom, and each room has their own adjustable A/C. The bathroom is small in size (~20-25 sq/ft), but its maintained weekly and is very clean. With all that being said, the only disadvantage is the dorm’s location from classes; I have to walk at least 20-30 mins to my classes near the Engineering fountain, so I’d recommend inv...
Excellent in comparison to other dorms, location a bit far from academic buildings, but exercise is good so it's ok. My room specifically had a bug infestation that was only resolved by taping up the vents, otherwise perfect. All worth it for a private bathroom.
love it. the rooms are great sizes, the closets could be bigger imo but i also have a lot of clothes. love the bathrooms, it’s nice having your own and it has a lot of storage. great location, pretty quiet building overall. i love it here
Free laundry and two laundry rooms on each floor. Only one kitchen for whole building tho which is a bit inconvenient.
Really comfortable lifestyle. Only one kitchen for the whole building though if that matters to you.
Staff cleaned bathrooms once a week, super friendly. 4 free washer/dryers on each floor shared by about around 50 people but I never had to wait other than late on weekends. Very quiet, ypu don't see very many people here and no one interacts much with others. Nice study areas. Only one stove in a tiny kitchen in the lobby though.
First Street is a nearly brand new dorm with all single rooms. They’re hella expensive rooms but very nice. Spacious rooms, private bathroom, super clean. It’s a bit far from classes but close to dining halls and Aspire food court. Nice lounges for studying, but there is no community whatsoever. RAs host events but no one shows up, everyone stays inside their rooms, the place is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. If you value community, want to save money, or often get lonely this is not the place for you, but if you really like you own place and nice rooms this is for you.
