best freshman dorm by far, if not one of the best dorms period. cheaper than the more expensive dorms and in my opinion, more nicer. i lived in a triple, which was pretty spacious and was able to fit all three of us pretty well (we all had alot of stuff lol). the closets are decent, if you have a normal amount of clothes the closet+ dresser will be perfect. I had alot of clothes so i invested in extra storage but it was very manageable. there are technically two dorms, North and South. I lived in south which was all girls, and north is co-ed (90% men tho). The north and south dorm are connected by an underground tunnel in the basement. the common areas are good, each floor has around 3 lounge areas for socializing or studying. south has a l...
Definitely one of the nicest dorms on Purdue campus. Only complaint I have is that the ResLife (RAs, administrators etc.) seem much more strict than other dorms. Just something to keep in mind
I live in a double, and it is pretty spacious, is pretty close to all of the academic buildings and dining courts, has COSI and Chick-fil-a a minute away. There are a bunch of lounges for you to chill with friends or private study lounges.
The rooms are very nice! Spacious, lots of natural light, and the location on campus could not be any better. The only critique is people are disgusting in the bathrooms and the showers often flood, but they stay relatively clean.
Get a triple. Triples in Honors might be the nicest room setup on campus. Best part about honors is how close it is to everything you do on a day-to-day basis.
The Honors Dorms are by far some of the best you can get on campus. The location is perfect; you are about as close as possible to the academic buildings as you can be and you are close to a Starbucks, two dining courts, the CoRec, and many other places. The rooms themselves are super nice, and considering the dorms were built in the 2010s, they are very nice and much more modern than other rooms on campus. My only complaint is sometimes residents do not use the shower curtain properly and the bathroom floors get slick (not the fault of the bathrooms, but the residents). There's plenty of study spaces and lots of areas to socialize or get some work done.
I enjoyed the capsule living in the Honors dorm. There were different private lounges that allowed people to study in a more private space on each floor. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were relatively nice.
Best freshman dorm on campus. Great location: could wake up, roll out of bed, and walk to class in less than 10 minutes; close to dining courts and has Cosi downstairs; Third Street Markets is right across the street; not too far from any of the other freshman dorms or Mackey/Ross-Ade. You share a bathroom/shower setup with 2-3 other rooms, which is a much better ratio than Shreve or Earhart, and there are plenty of private bathrooms if you're into that. 3 full sized lounges and 5 small lounges per floor in Honors North. There's a computer lab and printer in Honors South too. A half-kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, sink) in Honors North basement and a full-kitchen (same as North plus a stovetop) in South. Only complaint is the price. Oh an...
