Eastview Terrace Reviews
Penn State University
Reviews Summary
Eastview Terrace is an upperclassmen dorm renowned for offering a private and serene living environment at a premium cost. Each resident enjoys the luxury of a personal bedroom and bathroom, prioritizing privacy and comfort. The dormitory is exceptionally quiet, making it ideal for introverts or those focused on academics who prefer solitude over socializing. Although Eastview Terrace is conveniently located within a five-minute walk to Redifer Commons and downtown, it requires a longer trek of about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the HUB and most classes. Residents benefit from amenities like free laundry facilities and indoor trash collection, and each room is equipped with standard appliances, including a fridge and microwave. Study rooms and chill areas with TVs on each floor cater to both academic and leisure needs, although the dorm can feel somewhat isolated. With just 20 people per floor and infrequent encounters with others, Eastview Terrace truly offers a private retreat on campus.

It's probably the nicest but also one of the furthest. Close to Pollock and south common so that's nice

If you dont like talking to people or are an introvert, this place is perfect. Even though it's a hike and kind of, it's not terrible. Living alone with a private bathroom and free laundry is totally worth it imo. I spoke to and shared an elevator with 1 person all semester. Super quiet too.

Eastview is expensive, but definitely a great place to live. You get your own bathroom, a/c, free laundry, and the privacy of your own room (so much more space than a double). It's very quiet, so if you want to make friends with all the people on your dorm floor, this is probably not the place for you. Also, it's a bit far from a lot of classes, but close to south commons.

This is great if you want somewhere quiet (and I mean quiet). Is it worth the health price? Probably not... but the private room and bath are nice.

Eastview is the best place to live on campus if you can afford it. It's incredibly nice in new buildings, and everyone gets their own bathroom.

You get your own room and bathroom. plenty of space for one person. Building is super quiet because most people keep to themselves. Laundry is free, there’s indoor bike storage, and 3 rooms on each floor (one for each wing) with a conference table which was amazing to study in. Only downsides are the location and it can get lonely if you don’t know anyone
