Wonders Hall Reviews

Michigan State University South Neighborhood

Reviews Summary

Wonders Hall is a well-regarded dorm at the college due to its excellent facilities and location. The rooms and bathrooms are of a reasonable size, offering ample space for students. Although the bathrooms may be somewhat outdated, they are generally satisfactory, and students have the responsibility to maintain cleanliness, which underscores the importance of fostering good relationships with suitemates. The strategic location of Wonders Hall provides easy access to various campus amenities, with the dorm being a 20-30 minute walk to most places on campus. For those in need of a quick bite or caffeine fix, the nearby 1855 Place offers a Sparty’s and Starbucks, while Case Hall is conveniently close. Recreational facilities such as a theater, music practice room, and fitness center further add to the dorm's appeal. Though a little distant from downtown, it is well-connected by bus routes, and its proximity to sports venues is a bonus for sports enthusiasts. Overall, Wonders Hall offers a comfortable and convenient living experience for students.

The rooms and bathrooms are a nice size, and it’s about a 20-30 minute to almost anywhere on campus. The spartys isn’t great, but Case is right across, or 1855 Place is only a 10 minute walk away and they have a spartys and Starbucks. It’s pretty quiet, but sometimes in the mornings you can hear marching band practice.

The theater, music practice room, and fitness center make Wonders a stand out dorm already. Rooms and study spaces were good and it’s got its own Sparty’s store with great hours.

Next to arenas but a little far from downtown. I had a suite style bathroom and it was a good experience not many issues.

Overall great location on campus. Lots of buses go to and from south neighborhood. The bathroom was a little out dated but it was bearable.

Dorms are decent enough. Have to clean your own bathroom. Set up a good relationship with your suitemates to figure out bathroom cleaning and stuff especially if you like a clean living space. Bring a box fan. Really nice location, has it's own gym (only machines), can't really complain.
