The comment about Language House = HILC is wrong because the latter (Holland International Living Center) is on North Campus. LH is housed in Boldt Hall on West. I personally really liked living here. The community in my section was great, although all the language sections hung out together. There's a nice kitchen/common area near the entrance where people often congregate to cook or watch TV or play board games, and a volleyball net outside. Room size can vary but mine was pretty spacious. You're also right next to a bus stop and the Cook dining hall. Language House (aka Boldt Hall) is located behind Alice Cook House and is considered part of their West Campus system. Lived there sophomore, junior and senior year. Rooms: lived in double, single and suite-style rooms. Room sizes can vary due to the building's architecture being inconsistent, but all are of decent size. Not sure about that review about the forced triple, but those are exceedingly rare. Generally comfortable and clean. Decently spacious, and outside of the rooms near the trash/laundry they have acceptable ventilation. I enjoyed living there. Bathrooms: all bathrooms are gender-neutral. Assuming Language house = HILC / LR8 Forced triples (doubles with 3 people) for many freshmen. Close quarters and not super pleasant. Otherwise fine. A single lounge has A/C, the rest don’t. Was only an issue for a few weeks at the start and end. Heat was often way too high for me and the thermostat was broken
