Ninety St. Thomas More Reviews

Boston College

Reviews Summary

Ninety St. Thomas More is highly regarded as one of the best dorms for sophomore students and remains a favorable choice for juniors as well. Its prime location, directly across from Lower Dining Hall and close to bus stops, offers unmatched convenience and accessibility to dining options and classes. The dorm is particularly noted for its spacious, clean, and air-conditioned rooms, complemented by high ceilings on the first floor, enhancing the sense of space. Unique architectural features like spiral staircases and alcoves add a distinctive character to the building. While most residents appreciate its vibrant environment, some mention thin walls that make it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. The overall ambiance is bright and welcoming, with great views adding to the appeal. Despite minor inconveniences like a slow elevator and occasionally unresponsive RAs, Ninety St. Thomas More stands out as a top housing option, balancing comfort, location, and an engaging social atmosphere.

Across from Lower Dining, close to bus stop, and pretty manageable to get to classes in comparison to Upper as a freshman. Imo best Sophomore housing. Only cons is the slow elevator but I lived on the 2nd floor where I could take the exterior stairs to my room so it wasn’t bad for me.

I lived on the first floor, and it was the most convenient room ever. It’s so nice being right across from Lower, and the rooms are a nice size. The first floor also has very high ceilings, which makes the whole space seem even bigger.

One of the best dorm for sophomores, junior year OK too. Spiral staircases give it cool character, along with the alcove. Super close to lower dining hall and upperclassmen housing. Rooms were clean and fairly new

Definitely a nice dorm with a good location but very thin walls make it super easy to hear other rooms

RAs in 90 notoriously suck but the rooms themselves are really nice, clean, air conditioned, and spacious with great views.
