Lewis Hall
based on 2 reviews
Lewis is old and the rooms are small but the community is great, plus being right next to the Dome means being central and everything is close even if it doesn’t look that way on a map. - 4 years ago

Caroll Hall
based on 1 review
Pros:
* Smaller dorm made it a tighter community feel
* Dorm Volleyball court, nearby basketball court, and lake with circular path to do jogging
* Close to the Rockne for workouts
Cons:
* Furthest away dorm from most main University facilities and classes, which is especially bad during the winter
* Building is older. No elevator and lounge/common areas are mostly on the first floor only
* Really bad gym and basement game area - 4 years agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Caroll Hall

Lyons Hall
based on 1 review
Lyons Hall builds character honestly, in a good way I think. Plus it’s the only dorm featured in Rudy! The community is great and the rector is absolutely lovely (love you K-Lion 🫶). It is on the far side of south quad which makes the trek to classes a little longer, but it’s right by the beautiful St. Mary’s lake and it has a beautiful arch. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous and unlike no other. It’s also a short 2-min walk from the better dh, south dining hall. It’s right by the Rock (a gym), though the dorm does have its own little gym that was just renovated, and it has a beach volleyball court right nearby. The only complaints I have are that there’s no AC, no elevator, and it’s on the older side so the rooms are smaller and very clearly old. It’s live-able but compared to other dorms, you’d be questioning why you pay the same amount for room and board. Even with its flaws, I can’t help but stay for at least the required three years! Go lyons! - 1 year ago

Ryan Hall
based on 1 review
Ryan is great, even if the location isn't perfect. But being right by South and close to Debart is pretty good overall. Nowhere near the library, but you can still study in the book store nearby. Overall this is one of the better dorms at ND. - 10 months ago

Baumer Hall
based on 2 reviews
One of the newest dorms on campus however, not the best location.
It is pretty close to the bookstore though, which has an Einsteins Bagels store if you're in a rush and need to grab a coffee or something to eat. - 3 years agoWe collected 2 dorm reviews for Baumer Hall

Duncan Hall
based on 4 reviews
If you got into Duncan Hall, feel extremely lucky! The community here is unlike no other, the dorm is nice and clean, and it's just a great place to be within Notre Dame. The events we have are also probably the best ones on campus so definitely come out to those events. - 2 years ago

Dunne Hall
based on 1 review
Dunne Hall is the best hall on campus, bar none. One of the newest dorms (built in 2016) but old enough that is has an established culture and great traditions. Community of guys that feels like a family and always looks out for one another. Also hosts the largest on campus party of the year. Rooms are big, modern, and clean; gym and other amenities are new and fixed/replaced often. Location is close to the library, NDH (North Dining Hall), and the football stadium. Overall, a great dorm. - 2 years ago
