Baker House
based on 1 review
The building is older and looks kinda dingy, but is well kept. The rooms are fine, nothing stands out as a real negative or positive. If you get lucky, you can get a room with a great view of the river. There's a lot of athletes that live in this form who all have their own team cultures, so Baker kind of lacks the cohesive culture that a lot of MIT dorms have. - 4 years ago

Great community, large rooms. Cook for yourself. Bathroom and kitchen are cleaned by staff. Staff take out the trash daily. Each floor has a unique culture, large gym, dance room, music rooms, and porter room. - 2 months ago

McCormick Hall

Really nice dorm, with nice amenities. The penthouse suite offers a gorgeous view and is nice for studying/hanging out. There are lots of smaller study rooms you can reserve for blocks of time, and the game room & dance studio are also reservable. The down side is that there is quite the mouse and cockroach problem throughout the building. - 4 years ago

East Campus

Facilities aren’t the greatest, but the rooms are large, you have a sink in your room, you are likely to get a single, and the people are great! East Campus has a very unique and quirky culture that is my favorite part of the dorm, but it is not for everyone. - 4 years ago

Next House

Excellent dining hall, student groups, community, and facilities. Loved living here for 3 years. Bathrooms have fully enclosed locking rooms as opposed to stalls, great for privacy. - 4 years ago

New House
based on 4 reviews
Love this dorm. Super new and modern. Love the culture houses and the numbered houses. It’s easy to make friends with your house. Some have their own “meal plans” that offer lunch/dinner. It’s cheaper than the MIT meal plan and it’s homemade! Everyone I’ve met outside my house is also really kind. It’s a bit of a walk but you get used to it. I find the walk worth it for the culture and personality of New. - 4 years ago

Simmons Hall
based on 1 review
The facilities in this dorm are very nice and up-to-date including a gym and lounge spaces. It's a more modern dorm with pretty spacious rooms, and most people will get their own bathroom or have to share with one other room. Dining hall food is pretty good as well. The only down side is it's one of the farther dorms from campus. - 2 years ago

Maseeh Hall
based on 1 review
SO CLOSE TO CAMPUS! you are able to wake up 5 minutes before the hour and not be late to class. would highly recommend! rooms are large and have thermostats and everything is in really good condition (maseeh is super new and used to be a hotel). the hallways have AC so hot days are way more bearable than in other dorms.
the one drawback is that if you like to cook, there's only one small kitchen in the basement. - 4 years agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Maseeh Hall

New Vassar

Probably one of the best dining halls and has a new, clean vibe to it. I really liked the rooms and the building layout. - 2 years ago
