"Room was small and I brought sooo much stuff I felt pretty cramped in (but I shouldn't have brought so much lol). I was on the second floor and I had a good view but depending on location of the dorm your view could vary. I liked the location on campus because I could come back in between classes and lots of food options around. The basement was dope because we could visit friends dorms in other halls of walton. And laundry was great because it was placed in the basement so you could hang out down there and even do homework if you wanted. I hated the bathrooms because they were old showers were separate from toilets and sinks. Overall walton is pretty old so I didn't expect much but when you visit other places like LLC and New Hall, those dorms make you jealous. "

"In all honesty, although I do like having my own bathroom and a big closet, this dorm should not exist. It's at least a 10 minute walk to get on campus, and it's on the opposite side of campus from the other dorms and dining halls."

"The room itself is great and spacious, with large windows, and a sink. Thus, the layout can be changed to your preferences. However, no AC. There is a heater thermostat though. Floor 2 has two girls' showers and 1 boys' showers. Floor 3 has two boys' showers and one girls' showers. The custodians come by often to clean them. Location-wise, it's off campus but there is a bus station right there making it super easy to get to class. The bus comes by every 10 minutes. Dining can get repetitive if you don't want to commute to campus every day. The north side is very noisy since it's on a busy street. The building itself is pretty old but manageable. It can definitely be a quiet hall with not many community activities. "

"Good size of room. Lots of storage. Room sizes vary. Communal Bathrooms. Have to go across the lawn to get mail and food."

"The room was really small and the windows are tiny and squished to the sides. But it was usually a nice temperature and the bathrooms are super nice. They’re gender neutral so they’re essentially just private bathrooms that will almost always be free. The communal spaces were nice and there are kitchens to use downstairs!"

"GHS is one of the nicer dorms building at UO. The rooms are pretty new and well maintained. The food hall is GHS is also really good with a pasta bar and solid deli with lots of options. Rooms vary on size. My room had it's own sink which was super convenient so you didn't always have to go down the hall to the bathroom. Con would be the building is on the edge of campus so your walks to classes are a bit longer compared to buildings like LLC, Carson, etc. "

"I enjoy living at Kalapuya because the rooms include their own private bathrooms in each room and the building is fairly modern and up to date considering they are one of the newest dorms. The only con I would point out is how it is at the edge of campus making it a walk from most things. "
