"Fox is definitely the party dorm. All the dorms are suites so you basically have three roommates. Bedrooms are super small, you can really only sleep there. However, you are sacrificing that space for a really big common room. Common rooms are only as good as you make them. They can be a really chill hang out spot or be bland. Some are better than others. I say it’s a party dorm because those common rooms get WILD. There are some quiet floors though. No Ac, showers are a bit of a walk, the building is a bit of a maze, and windows are like a prison cell in the bedrooms. It smells too. I won’t lie, the common room and starting freshmen year with a group of friends right out of the gate is a huge plus. Definitely something to consider. "

"I liked living in West a lot (go west whales!). In my opinion it’s the best out of the three freshmen dormitories here at Union. Rooms are a decent size although definitely a little cramped. The singles are literally a closet (bad idea). No AC but none of the freshmen dorms have that. Nice big windows for natural lighting and a big overhead light. As for the other aspects of the building: the bathrooms are all the same. Three urinals, three toilets, three sinks, and three shower stalls (yes the girls bathroom has urinals). I never had to wait in line for anything but it’s one hell of a walk if you are on the wrong end of the hall. Cafeteria is nice but doesn’t offer breakfast so I don’t go often, standard school food.
