Is Green Quad the best dorm at USC?
Students rated Green Quad a 4.3/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
For a freshman apartment style dorm, I loved living there! The rooms are small with minimal storage, but the personal closets make up for it. I loved the layout of my room and having my own space was a must my freshman year. I shared a bathroom with one other girl and it worked perfectly with no issues. The living room is fairly small, but big enough for the 4 people that can live in the apartment. As far as location goes, it is at the bottom of a hill and on outskirts of campus closer to the engineering school. So it is a bit of a hike to get anywhere on campus such as Russell House or especially Close Hipp or Capstone. Once I figured out the shuttle system I was able to make it to my 8:30 AM class in Gambrell without having to hike to class. Overall, for anyone wanting their own room with a shared bathroom I highly recommend Green Quad. It's a great freshman dorm, however if you are looking to make friends with the people on your floor and not just your roommates it is probably not the best dorm for you as everyone sticks to themselves and their roommates.
