Is The Vistas the best dorm at USD?

The vistas is at the top of the hill and right next to the gym. Most sophomores live here and you overlook the football field so you can watch games from the benches at the parking area. Quads are broken up into a main living area with a kitchen and then two doubles with their own bathrooms and showers. So four people live in 1 dorm but it’s 2 people per actual bedroom. Tram pickup is right outside the dorms so no need to walk far and it’s very pretty in the morning because you get to see the sunrise over the campus. Laundry is on the ground floor of 2 of the buildings but it’s a short walk if your floor doesn’t have laundry in the building so no worries. A lot of people set up their hammocks outside the buildings on the trees which is nice and it’s normally very quiet and peaceful outside the vistas so it’s a great place to study outside. As a sophomore you have the option to make a neighborhood in which 8 people live right next to each other, so 4 friends in one dorm and 4 in the dorm right next to that. Definitely recommend!
