Is Mariposa the best dorm at UC Merced?

If you're lucky, you'll get an RAs room which just means you get your own bathroom and a bit more space. You clean ur own bathrooms here so that's a plus if you live w clean people. There's one kitchen and two floors. It's pretty standard tbh. The other dorms look nicer and have more amenities like a game room but Mariposa is definitely chill and feels less crowded
Mariposa was probably the chillest dorm building everyone was really quiet. Only thing that sucks about Mariposa is that the laundry is not in the building so its kind of a walk just to do laundry. Otherwise it was really nice sharing a bathroom with 6 people and its pretty close to classes (like a 5 minute walk vs other dorms 10 minutes), the pavilion, super close to the dc, and the mailroom is pretty close too.
