    1940 Liacouras Walk

    based on 1 review

Every dorm in this building is 2 rooms with 2 beds each, connected by a bathroom/shower. One of the newer/nicer buildings (in 2008). - 4 years ago

    1300 Residence Hall

1300 Residence Hall at Temple University

I am a sophomore and I have been living in 1300 for the past two years, and I’ll probably keep living here until I graduate. On each floor of the dorm there’s a pool table, TV, and a study lounge. The rooms are a decent size, and your living experience depends on who your roommate is, so pick wisely. The security guards at the front desk are really nice, and it’s always fun when you get an email from the mailing room when your packages has arrived. Honestly an overall great dorm, it’s right by the grocery store, and the subway station so you can go into Center City. The only downside is the location because it’s not in the best part of Philly. Shootings happen, so you just have to be aware when and where you’re walking. I’m a girl and I can say that I’ve walked back late at night a good amount of times, and I’ve felt pretty safe. The key is to always be aware of your surroundings, and police presence is high and is continuously increasing each semester. 1300 is one of the best dorms on campus, and it’s for honors students so there are some great perks. - 2 months ago
