Northern Illinois University Dorms Ranked

There aren't a lot of options for NIU that keep you close to campus and out of Stevenson, New Hall, and Grant, D Tower wins out. The rooms were the most recently updated when I lived there. Additionally, there isn't a dining hall in the building. It sucks if you eat a lot and don't want to go outside, but not having a lot of foot traffic makes Grant a quiet area. Overall it has room for improvement, but it's a nice building in comparison. - 4 years ago

I lived in a bathroom suite in Stevenson Tower B. There was mold in our bathroom, building is old, dirty and dated. Needs a remodel and renovation. It would be very depressing. - 2 years ago

Small rooms, no a/c, they dont turn on the heat until 2 full weeks of cold weather so be ready to freeze your butt off. - 4 years ago
