    Hatch Hall

    based on 1 review

Kinda gross (“Hatch nasty”) because of how old the building is but can’t beat the social life, you get to meet everyone on all floors just by hanging out in the lounges. Wouldn’t trade it for any other res hall experience, some of my best friends to this day lived in Hatch with me! Also, Baja grill in the basement is clutch when you don’t feel like walking outside to another dining hall. - 4 years ago

    Schurz Hall

    based on 1 review

It's called Shitty Schurz for a reason... though it honestly wasn't terrible and the price made it worth it. - 3 years ago

    Hudson Hall

Good over. A standard community style dorm. Is one of the older ones but not too noticeable until you compare it to the newer ones. - 4 years ago

    College Avenue Hall

    based on 1 review

Lived in a suite. Bathroom was nice enough, could be annoying to share at times. Room was ok - nice windows and features. - 4 years ago

    Responsibility

    based on 1 review

Responsibility at Mizzou - University of Missouri

TLDR - Responsibility is conveniently located (parking/ food/campus activities wise). All suite style rooms (so, your own personal bathroom) and lots of study rooms and kitchens available. Con is there's only two laundry's for the four buildings and it is low-key hotel vibes (hard to find friends and community)

Responsibility is located pretty conveniently. You're right in front of a dining hall and a 5-10 min walk from the Student Center which is a pretty central eating and meeting location on campus. It's also right next to a parking lot, which makes moving in and out pretty easy compared to other dorms. The main benefit of these rooms is that they are all suite style - meaning that you and your roommate(s) have your own bathroom attached to your guys' room. The custodians clean it every alternate week, which is not bad at all. Responsibility is attached to three other dorms, Discovery, Excellence, and Respect - which means that you will have access to all the amenities in these dorms - SO many study rooms and lounges and decent, occasionally crusty, kitchens! Also, unlike what the RA's will tell you - no, the front desk does not actually have dishes for cooking. The main con is that the design is kind of drab and it's hard to find and build community and friendships with how self-contained the rooms are. Also, there's only a laundry section in two of the buildings, so if you're in responsibility, you will have to walk across to the other dorm and go to the first floor to do your laundry. kind of inconvenient :( A tip! If you're a musician like me, the music practice room (which has a piano! and all dorms on campus have pianos) is located in the first floor of Excellence near the laundry. - 2 days ago
