Rooms in English House have a sink, which is a lifesaver. Overall, the dorm isn’t as new or nice as Lauder or Hill, but is definitely a step up in terms of cleanliness compared to the Quad. The community is pretty tight-knit, and there are always hall events or house events going on. The dining hall is also pretty convenient.
while kcech (specifically kings court) rooms are small & have tile flooring (not my favorite), the community, events, house staff, are all so amazing!! it’s the best vibe, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s free food, celebrations, movie nights, and more :) the rooms are also much bigger than other freshman dorms, & the dining hall is better
KCECH tends to fly under the radar of the other freshman dorms but I think it's underrated! Although it's probably quieter than the Quad, the community is really tight-knit. Best dining hall and great location for anyone in engineering. There aren't as many amenities as Hill or NCH but it has everything you need. Rooms are much larger than Hill and English House rooms also have sinks in them which is a huge plus!
