Lane Hall Reviews

There are cockroaches everywhere. There is no air conditioning. Compared to other equally priced dorms on campus (minus the ~$150 upcharge for AC which you have very little control over since you can't directly select your dorm as a freshmen), Lane Hall makes motel six look like the Ritz. Security differences between some of the other dorms and Lane Hall are worrying. While there are keycard locks at the entrance to the South Academy and Redding Hall buildings and at the entrance to each hallway inside the building. Only one keycard lock protects the four floor building. Do not listen to the RAs toeing the company line "oh, I actually liked not having air conditioning, it gave us a sense of community."
