I feel like Northwood Apartments are extremely underrated. It’s not hilltop apartments but it’s still a decent and good place in my opinion. I personally like how it’s rate 1 for the double and you have more of a place. The double room is small yes but the living room space compensates for it. The bathroom is small and well old and so was the kitchen that I had in the apartment. I found it to be a nice,quiet place to hang out with my friends and we would literally have drinking parties. It’s the cheapest but you get what you paid for the price. In my opinion it was the perfect place to live for my junior year. I always took the bus to class and I never had any issues. I only walked the path to Northwood twice out of the semester I was there...
Apartments where undergraduates and graduate students live. Farthest housing from campus center by a lot of distance. It's about a 20-25 minute walk if you miss the UConn bus line. There are 2 rooms per apartment if the apartment is assigned to undergraduates the large room is shared between two people and the small room is a single. If the apartment is for graduates it will be one person per room. Each apartment has one full bathroom, full kitchen with attached dining area, and living room. Laundry room is small and only had 7 washers and 8 dryers for over 100 apartments so I would prefer to do laundry in the middle of the night to find a space.
