I live in the 2 bed 2 person apartment and it has been a mixed experience. It is nice having my own bedroom and bathroom for my freshman year, but there are some cons such as the fact that this building is very old and doesn’t have any soundproofing in the ceilings, as well as the floorboards are very creaky. This means that I can hear my upstairs neigbors footsteps very loudly echoing through the floorboards. Basically I can only sleep when the guy above me is asleep. Another problem is ladybugs. They somehow get in the bedroom and are kinda disgusting. Uconn is incompetent and I feel scammed. Very overrated residence hall.

Had a 2 Bedroom/2Person Apartment. The apartment was just the right amount of space for 2 people. Came with a living room, kitchen & bathrooms in each bedroom. There was a washer and dryer + a dishwasher. Also a refrigerator & stove + oven. Also has a thermostat to control climate. Only Con was the location from campus. Almost a 20-minute walk to get to the Union (10 Minutes by bus [Blue-Line]) Also had an Ant problem in the winter & needed ant traps. Other than that, it was a great place to live!

I lived in a 2 bedroom/4 person apartment. Bedrooms are TINY, impossible to have access to both desks unless at least one of you lofts your bed. One large closet in each bedroom and each person gets their own dresser and desk. You do have a living room with a couch and chair and small kitchen table. Kitchen is decent size, lots of storage but fridge/freezer is pretty small to hold different food for all 4 people. Bathroom is decent size and there is one in each bedroom. If you know all your roommates, this would be a great place to live. It’s tricky living with people you don’t know because unlike in a dorm, you are responsible for cleaning the living room/kitchen/bathrooms- no one comes in to clean, ever. Really nice apartments. Spacious. Easier to get into than hilltop Apt’s. I lived in a 4br2ba apt with 3 others my senior year. Cons: No elevators. Terrible if anyone has disability that doesn’t let them climb stairs or open doors without assistance. On a really big hill, far from everything. Expensive af!! No one will clean up after you. Pros: - full bed instead of a twin xl BLESS UP, private room, large mirrors on closet door - I actually spent around the same $ as in a traditional bc I saved so much on food (don’t need to buy a meal plan) - bus line comes every 10 minutes that brings you exactly where you need to go - there’s a community building with a game room and mailroom that most people won’t really use

I lived in a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom in COA and I loved it. Definitely worth it since you get your own room and only share a bathroom with one other person. the 2B2R have a smaller living room and bathroom but those are also good. I don't recommend the 4 person 2 bedroom apartments unless you're adamant on having your own living room and kitchen because they're the same size as the 2B2R apartments and the only way you can live comfortably there is if you loft or bunk your beds. The blue line will definitely become your best friend if you wanna avoid busby hill too!
