Compared to other universities, FGCU has nicer dorms. In Sovi, you receive your own room and depending on which room style you choose, you can get your own bathroom. It's a nice Dorms for being a freshman. Building names Eagle has the most updated Dorms.
Lived in a double room
I think SoVi was pretty nice overall. If you can, try and apply early and get into Eagle or Osprey as they are a lot nicer than the other halls.
