Slater Hall Reviews

Pros: You absolutely can't beat Slater's location right on the Main Green, meaning it offers short walks to class and great views of the campus. It's also one of the most historic buildings and interesting looking buildings at Brown. It's also a relatively small dorm and pretty much all juniors and seniors, so it has a laid back vibe. Cons: As an old building (it was built in the 1800s), Slater has a lot of old building problems: the interior is old and dingy, there's poor lighting and ventilation, not at all accessible to people with physical disabilities, etc. For whatever reason the communal bathrooms are very new and modern, but everything else is kind of falling apart. Also, there's no lounge/common room.
