"Even though the Dorm is one of the worst at UNC Charlotte, i still highly highly recommend it if you're a freshman engineering major. It was really nice living right next door to people taking the same classes as me and the dorm activities we did were always really fun too. If you're not a freshman engineering major tho, it's not worth it. It's kinda far away from main campus and the dining halls, and the building is old, like i've been stuck in the elevator because it broke down for an hour old. Also, if one person on the floor is smoking weed everyone can smell it"

"The building feels like a traditional dorm rather than an apartment. Walls are pretty thin, so keep your music down. The RAs also really don't do anything. Otherwise the rooms are a good size and the privacy is awesome. If you need a study room, there's always plenty of empty ones. Definitely not worth the extra cost when you can get much better quality off-campus for cheaper, but I enjoyed my time living there."

"I really like the location because crown and union are a minute walk. Also, during the evening time, people like to hang outside and relax. Since it is a all freshmen dorm, it is super easy to meet others and even have hangouts at the dorm. The light rail is literally a 1-2 minute walk, which is so convenient when you want to get lit with friends and go to uptown. Definitely recommend. "

"Rooms are decent size and the ceilings are really high, so it doesn’t feel cramped. It’s really close to the library and colvard, but it’s about a 10 minute walk to the Student Union. One downside was all the construction they had going on this year for Moore Hall, they kept construction going during finals and it was pretty loud in some areas of the hall. it is also right next to the field the marching band practices on in the fall, so be prepared to hear that if you’re on that end of the building fall semester."

"Hunt Hall was the best in 2015! Close to SoVi and South Deck. It is one of the newer suite style dorms. I met some of my best friends in Hunt, many in my wedding. Good times and great memories!"

"The entire building is very clean and feels new. The location is very nice considering it is right next to the dinning hall and the center of campus is not far at all from the building."
