"I lived here as a sophomore in a 4/2. The outside is a little bit ugly, but the inside dorms are more spacious than you'd expect. Theres small living room area and a kitchen. The desks in the private rooms are a lot longer and bigger, so that's cool. I really like it. My only gripe is that Nike is in the corner of campus and depending on your class you may take 15-20 min to walk there. I reccomend a bike to save yourself the hassle. However it is right next to the RWC so you have an excuse to go the the gym. There are also elevators so that is good. All in all, pretty satisfactory in my opinion."

"I lived here as a freshman. It is near the center of campus and close to TCH, CB1 and CB2, and the Student Union, which is a plus. I would wake up 30 minutes before my class in CB1 and leave 5 minutes before class started and come right on time. There aren't really any amenities and the buildings are there just for the dorms. They are apartment style 4/2, so you have your own private bedroom with an in-dorm kitchen and have to share a bathroom with 1 other person. The walls are kinda thin (as always) and the rooms are a bit small (as expected). There are 3 floors and NO ELEVATORS. I lived on 3rd floor and it sucked moving in (and was a tad annoying walking every time). Also in my dorm one of the showers (on my side, how lucky) did not get hot at all, only lukewarm. Even after I sent in a work order and the guy said "It gets hot" they did not fix it. Those are my only qualms. All in all, I think it's a great choice for freshmen."

"The buildings in the Libra community are some of the oldest dorm buildings on campus but the dorms are in good condition nonetheless. The L shaped dorm provided more privacy for my roommate and I but we still had to share a sink and had one bathroom that we shared with two other people. The dorms are in a great location on campus (close to most classroom buildings/the library, near a dining hall, across the street from the Recreation and Wellness center, and just outside of All Knight Study, a 24 hr study hall). There were problems like a minor leak in the roof and the occasional critter in the dorm but maintenance was always quick to respond. Every week there were also maintenance workers that vacuumed the floor, cleaned the sink, and mopped the bathroom for us. There is a kitchen, common area, laundry, and a mailroom that is provided for the Libra community but not in the individual dorm buildings. Of course there are other dorms on campus that provide more privacy but if you can deal with a roommate, living here is cheaper and worthwhile in my opinion!"

"honestly amazing if you find good roomate/suitemates. the L-shape rooms provide some privacy. TONS OF STORAGE!! you get a wall of shelves, the closets are the biggest on ucf’s campus, plus the dresser and bookcase. it has the best location (imo) of all the dorms, especially if youre a stem or business major. amazing lighting as well (at least in my room). the only downside is the kitchen, but you still have access to it if you really need it. be aware of the bands that play until ungodly hours in the morning on garage b that you can hear in the libra dorms tho. however, theres always events that the libra RAs put on. you will gain an interesting story from living here, whether it be good or bad. 10/10 experience"

"The dorm itself is super solid, only downside is there is no common space to spend time with your roommates, but if you don't like them it works out, and if you do like them the rooms are plenty big as hangout spaces. "

Hercules
Rated 4.8 / 5 stars by 1 UCF student
"Very spacious for a dorm. Super cozy building and the community is great and I loved my room. There’s a beautiful fountain right in the middle of the buildings and mail is super easy. There’s an elevator in the building too. "

"Tower 3 is really great! Proximity to classes is amazing, it is a bit of a walk to classes farther away but you shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to get anywhere on campus. The room is the nicest you can find on the main campus, but you do pay for it (~3440 for a normal semester.) Walls are thin, but that's something you should get to accustomed to in a college dorm, nothing you can really do about it. If you value your sleep, don't choose the rooms X14-X22 (X being the floor numbers) as ROTC will practice outside your window at 6am, and you can hear football games during the fall semester. I've only stayed in a 4x2, which is your standard apartment, and it's pretty nice, little to no complaints. Maintenance responds fairly quickly and the room gets cleaned by staff around once a semester. It's up to you to keep day to day cleanliness and to buy your own toilet paper, but they are things that should be learned anyway so it's fine. Bed can be uncomfortable if you don't bring a foam pad of some sort, but it is the only full bed on campus which is amazing. Kitchen in your room is a godsend, not that you should pay for the meal plan even if you don't have a kitchen but it really helps having one there. I cook most if not all of my food now because of it. Really close to football stadium and tons of restaurants, so ease of access is definitely a plus. Theres a Dominos, Dunkin, Starbucks, Burger joint, Mexican place and a 711 all within a 2 minutes walk. Really like it here!!!"

Towers
Rated 5 / 5 stars by 1 UCF student
"I lived in a four bed, two bath in my freshman year and loved it. It didn’t even feel like living in a dorm. Occasionally the elevator breaks and that sucks when you have to go up several flights, but it wasn’t often enough for me to have my experience ruined. You can make as much noise as you want in your apartment and no one will hear you, but the walls in your individual bedspace are thin. The full size beds alone make it worth it."
