"Norris is a first-year only dorm, so you should expect to hear a lot of noise (and other crazy stuff), but also to make a lot of friends. When I lived there 3 years ago, the building was very unpleasant, with small hallways and gross bathrooms. Now with the renovations, I assume at least the bathrooms are better, and the other amenities are nicer (elevator, laundry room, nice lounge space). One things that will never change is the location: Norris is located on the far north corner of campus. Except if you are an athlete, expect walking a lot for classes and other on-campus activities (specially the arts building, which is a 10-minute walk away."

"Part of East Campus so one of the newer and nicer dorms on campus. Generally very quiet compared to other dorms but not much of a community feel like other dorms such as South Campus. Bathrooms are quite nice and there is an elevator as well. One of the few Air conditioned dorms on campus. You will get a lot of sunlight which may be good or bad depending on the person. Would prefer Lazier or Kershaw if since they are slightly closer to the academic buildings but Rose Hall is a bit closer to the Bear (athletics center). Generally a nice calm feel good for the introverted"
