"Conklin has a great community but everything else is either average or below average. Rooms are pretty standard. Linoleum floors and brick walls. The brick walls are actually nice because they block sound really well. Never really had any noise issues while living here because of that. Bathrooms are meh. 3 normal toilets and 1 toilet that everybody uses as a urinal. 4 showers but only 2 of them had acceptable water pressure. Generally pretty clean except for when the freshmen drink too much on the weekends and throw up all over the place. Amenities? Hah, there's basically none. You get the basics like a small computer lab and A/C in the room. That's really it. Main lobby is basic as are the floor lobbies. Also laundry on-site but that is literally bare minimum for dorms. Location is decent. Close to the library and Carolin place which is very nice. Library especially. Distance to class just depends on your major. Overall it's a pretty average dorm. Great community and fairly average in most other aspects. You could definitely do worse (any dorm without A/C) but you could also do a lot better (Centennial, Falcon, Offenhauer, Founders)."

"Mostly full of second years, this dorm is located in the middle of nowhere. There is a big parking lot in the back perfect for weekends but that is the closest thing to it. This is one of the new dorms on campus so all the rooms are nice. Speaking of rooms, most are quads with a living room, 2 bathrooms, and depending on the set up for bedrooms singles or doubles in disguise. There is no sense of community. Triples suck here as there are only 2 built-in closets and 1 tiny wardrobe for the last unfortunate member. The sinks are outside the bathroom instead of inside. Regardless, the rooms are very spacious for triples, just awkwardly set up. Good Luck!"

"Founders Hall is pretty decent to live in. The room space and the bathrooms are just fine and the suite common area is large. It’s close to Uptown Downtown and close enough to the main food places. Air conditioning is great. I personally had a kitchen set up in mine but it was very spacious."

"This is located right next to Dunkin Donuts and the Oaks Dining Hall with a parking lot for weekends in the back. Floor 0 has almost no windows. Floor 1 bathrooms are the best ones but have very little community space for themselves as most of it is taken up by the ECCO Lounge. Floors 2-4 are basically identical but all offer multiple community areas on each floor (1 study lounge by the front elevators and 2 regular lounges per floor). This is one of the only halls with a laundry room on each floor unlike other dorms with just the one on the bottom floor. The biggest downside is that it doesn't have AC (heat only) and you can feel it at all times as Mac is always hot even during the winter. This is one of the best locations on campus in the middle of most academic buildings. If you want a cheap freshman housing option McDonald is the number one choice (most people know this so get you room asap)."
