Michigan Technological University Freshman Dorms Ranked

Ranking the best sophomore dorms at Michigan Technological University, according to students.

  • Number 2

    West McNair Hall

    based on 2 reviews

"Building/Location: Smaller size, easy to navigate, one of the farthest walks on campus but tbh it's manageable. No elevator but it's only two floors tall

Dining Hall: Better tasting than wads, open later weekdays but closed on Sat/Sun

Laundry: Many machines on each floor

Bathrooms: Communal. Each shower has a stall and a curtain though so there's some privacy.

Kitchenettes: I never personally used them but they seemed to be a bit dirty

Common areas: Each corner of the building is a nice place to hang out with friends or work on group projects. The main downstairs lobby constantly has people playing games and working on homework

Overall: A nice place to live for a year or two." - 4 years ago

    Wadsworth Hall

"Overall a decent dorm option on campus. I didn't have a private bathroom, but the bathrooms had separate rooms and would get cleaned in the mornings on weekdays. The rooms we fine, nothing too special. " - 2 years ago
