Dix Hall

This is honestly a terrible form to have. The building has negative energy and all the hallways are dark and closed off and it feels unpleasant to exist in. The lighting is pretty rough and there are not nearly enough lounges on the floors. The fact that it had AC was a plus though. - 4 years ago

There are mice, the bathrooms were sometimes untidy. The building is old and there's no overhead lighting, AC, or elevator. There's three washing machines on the 2nd floor and three dryers which are being used frequently. First floor has a kitchen and lounge, second floor has a kitchen, lounge, and laundry room, third floor and no lounge, no kitchen, and fourth floor has a kitchen and lounge. The fourth floor is the Arts floor. - 4 years ago

I got a corner room, which made it bearable. The doubles were tight, especially when they stuck three people in there. It was SO hot during the warm months because there isn’t any AC. The building is old but not terrible. A good gathering place, and enough lounges throughout the building. Definitely the superior Freshman dorm building. - 4 years ago

An Underrated dorm building. I lived in the first floor and it was perfect. An easily accessible lounge and kitchen, which were both really nice. The bathroom was clean since the floor wasn’t so occupied. Lighting wasn’t great but so worth it. Am going to miss living here. - 4 years ago
