"REV is the worst residence at the University of Waterloo. To put it simply, it is dogshit. The people are pretty chill depending on who you get on your floor but overall the room is small, the beds are uncomfortable, and the distance to lectures is unnecessarily far. Not to mention the fire alarms that go off almost every week. Not the greatest first year experience for sure..."

"Decent but there are other dorms which are nicer. The building was old however I never had any issues with heating."

"CMH is the newest and nicest residence. You get to choose between single and double bedrooms. I personally stayed in a double bedroom during COVID-19 and had the entire room to myself. But trust me when I say it’s a really big room even for two people. There's a great sense of community since you can chill with friends and play ping pong or pool. The dining hall is inside the building as well."
