    Camden Apartments

"As a parent dropping off my first year student to college never go to Rutgers Camden. The apartments are dirty disgusting they say they've been cleaned they weren't sticky stuff all over the bathrooms the floors were black after swiffering still they lied to you which kind of room you're going to get. And we walk in and the room smells of pot. They did deodorize it they said but how disappointing for a parent." - 6 months ago

    Camden Towers

    based on 3 reviews

"In regards to the freshman dorms... First off, the location is fantastic! It's right next to the campus with ton of security around, so walking to your classes is a breeze. For freshman, the dorms are set up to be suites, so on average it's a total of six people in the dorm. Plus, there's a lounge area in case you don't want to do work in your dorm. However, you get your own bathroom and sink area, which is a lot nicer than a communal bath so long as you and your roomies do your part in cleaning it every once in a while. The bathroom itself isn't exactly "modern", but remember some tidying up goes a long way, and if you need anything repaired the maintenance stuff are super friendly and helpful. The suite AC unit can be a little difficult to navigate at first, but it's better than not having it at all. For the most part the building isn't "modern" either, but everything is very accessible and easy to navigate. However, the only kitchen freshman have access to in the dorms in the communal kitchen, and not everybody who uses it is very keen on cleaning up after themselves. Otherwise, the laundry room is easy to use and the folks at the front desk are very helpful. And this is just a little secret/tip --- while the mail/package system at the dorms works fine, if you are buying anything from Amazon, I recommend having it delivered to the Amazon Locker "Gretchen" at the 7-Eleven right down the street for a more convenient delivery." - 8 months ago

    330 Cooper

    based on 1 review

"I lived in 330 Cooper my last 2 years at Rutgers Camden and it was a great experience. The building was extremely clean, room was decently sized and the apartment came with a kitchen and ample space, cupboards, and furniture. You get your own room and you share the living space, kitchen and bathroom (unless you got the master bedroom) with your roommates. The security system is a bit of a hassle if you do have guests over and they're always changing this system around so it can get frustrating. The building is right on campus, close to the student center, law school, right above 7/11 and in a quiet-ish area. You do hear the light rail squeaking early in the morning but you will get used to it. My only complaint is, I wish there were more stores nearby in the area. Other than 7/11 and a McDonald's more than half a mile away there's not much else here. " - 2 years ago
