"Parkview is extremely nice compared to the other dorms, however the security is tight and the lobby staff can be anxiety inducing when they yell at you asking if you live here. Elevators pretty fast. Walls are thin though and I wouldn’t live on the second floor. People would dance underneath the second floor all night long blaring shitty music and Housing didn’t do a thing about it. Pick your roommates wisely. Kitchen is shitty quality, but it’s there. Lots of big windows which is nice. Bathroom is spacious, just rusty doors for some reason. If you want more shelf space, pick an A or B room. That side of the room has more shelf space as the fridge takes up a chunk on the other side. I would say the only real downside of Parkview is the fact that it’s the furthest dorm and literally a trek to get to class. Lakeview is the most central dorm. However, you do have access to the Housing Parking Garage (extra fee) and it’s next to the Nature Preserve."

"It’s technically off campus housing even though it’s at the Biscayne Bay Campus and apartment style. I lived in a 4/2 so Four private bedrooms but I shared a bathroom with one other person. Also there’s no oven in the kitchen 😒. It’s also pretty expensive but I had my financial aid cover it so there’s that."

"The suite I had was a two-bedroom quad. So two people shared a room. The rooms itself is quite spacious. Highly recommend designing it to your liking. There’s a common area, one bathroom, two sinks and a small kitchenette. I didn’t like the cabinet space, so bring storage. The fridge was great. The dorms doesn’t have a full kitchen, there’s shared kitchens on each floor. There’s another version of the suite, which is a quad but has private rooms. I felt that those dorms, wasn’t as spacious as the shared suites. The private dorms are more costly, but you have your privacy."

"Great quality overall. Nice kitchen. Literally on campus so it's perfect for MMC classes if you have any in person. Probably one of the best values for housing at FIU."
