University Village Apartments

"UVA is located on the outskirts of campus. It’s an older building and does not have any of the amenities got the other buildings have but it is a really good price to be living in an apartment on campus. The apartments are two stories so there’s lots of space to live" - 2 years ago

Indian River Towers

"this building is right in the middle of campus with an amazing location. It’s definitely an older building and you can tell by the condition of the room and the bathroom but it does have most of the amenities that the other building has and the rooms are a pretty good size and they have living rooms." - 2 years ago

Innovation Village Apartment North (IVAN)

"This dorm has been nice considering I lived in Indian River Tower before this. Some of the pros have been the kitchen, the living room, and having a full sized bed. However, our dishwasher has mold and the vents need some cleaning. Other than that it's been fine." - 2 years ago

Parliament Hall
based on 2 reviews
"this is the newest freshman dorm, and by far has the most amenities. It’s located somewhat far away from the dining hall and the classrooms but the niceness of the building makes up for it. It’s definitely pricey but the room is a good size." - 2 years ago

Innovation Village Apartment (IVA South)

"Lived in 4 bed 2 Bath. The bedroom is a full size which is bigger than the Twin XL in every other dorm FAU currently offers. Even tho it's expensive for upper class man and far from campus like UVA and IVA (North and South) are the furthest from campus, it's pretty good for the stuff you get on the dorm. Meal plan is optional, if you got money suggest getting owl bucks if getting commuter meal plan ain't your style. Mailroom and Computer Lab is in South so if u are in North got to walk over to the building which u have to wait to get access for at times which sucks. IVA is close to the FAU Stadium (if u are a athletic or love showing FAU Spirit) plus Subway and CVS.
Highly suggest to have some form of transportation. I have no car, nor bike or skateboard or electric scooter and it sucks sometimes taking a bit to get to places on campus. Your roommates for the dorm can make or break your experience. I have good memories in my dorm room but my Roomate was average and then the other was a bit of a slob, to be fair it was random and gender inclusive thinking it could affirm me being with other queer ppl (NB AFAB) but it wasn't a good experience living with room mates.
Bathrooms are average, if u have money get a shower mat and change the shower curtain (just remember to replace it to the standard yellow back when u move out), also basic stuff like air freshener, toilet scrubber, ajax and disinfecting wipes (to clean toilet seat and handles to not get Corona) just to stay clean and not get anything.
Highly suggest u pair with ppl u know for IVA South, or u get a 2bed/2bath at IVA North to lower the risk of a crappy roommate. Be careful walking at night, stuff doesn't happen to me but don't press your luck especially if you have night class like me and have to walk from the buildings to IVA South at night.
Signal on IVA is sooooo crappy but it's the concrete and how the building was made, be on the lookout to use Discord, Whatsapp, Group Me to stay in contact with ppl since regular calling, text message and then voice mails will be delayed or unable to receive even with wifi enabled. This goes throughout FAU but IVA is one of the worse and my phone is 5G Nokia so that's saying something. Had to walk a few minutes off campus to start getting signal of 3G so keep that in mind. I usually visit Cinnaholic whenever I have to do a long phone call say for ex an advisor so do something similar if u like me and don't get signal." - 2 years agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Innovation Village Apartment (IVA South)
