"While all dorms at Carleton are "Party Dorms" (and by the same token, none of them are) to some extent due to the nature of the campus, Evans is clearly the most party dorm. Consider that despite 4th Evans being subfree while I lived there, every single room had alcohol at some point over the year and multiple rooms were hotboxed repeatedly. While the sext on ground Evans has gone in and out of fashion over the years, it's held some truly memorable parties (well, memorable for those of us who didn't black out). The ground floor lounge, with it's pool table, large kitchen, and ample seating, also makes a good alternative to Sayles for residents. And of course, access to The Cave without having to go outside in the MN winter is always a plus. The common bathrooms are equivalent to Casset. They're good sized, nice showers, etc. The bathrooms on 4th are oddly shaped due to the sloping roofs of the building, leading to a shower that only has a curtain half way across it, a shower with almost no room, etc. This is fine, given everything else in the building, but a bit annoying. On the other hand closet space is better on the 4th floor than on the lower floors. It's a solid building, especially if you're a sophomore who likes Hamms."

"I really enjoyed staying in Myers. The location is, in my opinion, one of the best on campus. You are right next to LDC and Anderson, not too far from the rec or CMC. It is a bit of jaunt to get over to Sayles or Leighton, but no different from Burton to LDC. The rooms are nothing that you would find in Cassat, but they're not bad either (especially on 4th Myers where the windows are huge). Myers (and Musser for that matter), are known for having tiled walls which means people draw and write all over them. It's a fun little aspect of floor life. The bathrooms are decent. At least the showers have a section to keep your towel or other things. There aren't physical doors on the showers (one curtain to the changing area, one curtain to the shower), but they work. I think they recently put in new radiators which sort of block the outlet near the window side of the room, so you sort of need to have an extension cable, but it's not the worst thing. Never had any issues with temperature in the rooms. There is also plenty of storage (large hanging closet with storage up top), dresser drawers, mirror with storage behind it, another cabinet above the mirror, small bookshelf, and drawers on the desk. Most of the rooms are carpeted (except at least on on 2nd Myers) and the hallways are carpeted. The lounge is not tremendously big, but there is room to hang out and work. There is a study room on the 1st floor and 4th floor, and there are two practice rooms on the 1st floor as well."
