"Maddox Hall at Belmont University is one of the older male dorms on campus. I lived there freshman year and had an okay time. It's definitely one of those dorms that works, and that's about it. It's all brick, so internet doesn't travel well, WIFI that is. But they have 300+ mb/s ethernet. Ground floor ceilings are high and all of the rooms are suite-style and you have one immediate roommate per room. One residence assistant per floor. The lobby is pretty and is always busy as the lobby is shared with the girls' dorm. Belmont's campus is incredible and the dorm is a 2 minute walk from the cafeteria and close to the basketball arena. TLDR: Old dorm that does the job and is close to food and entertainment."

"This dorm is one of the newest on campus. It offers multiple room layouts: Suite, Singles and Apartments. I lived in the suite style. The rooms have high ceilings and have their own bathroom. You share it with another roommate and the bathroom is shared with another room. Tile floors, drywall and drop ceilings are the features of this room. Very clean building and is part of a section of campus that is brand new. Kind of like a secluded area with only dorms. It is a bit of a walk to the cafeteria and is on the other side of campus from the academic buildings. The only problem that I had is that the laundry room floods sometimes when all of the machines are running (eg. Sundays). TLDR: New building, very nice, but laundry room sucks."
