Located in the middle of campus and has a great community feel. Easy to meet people. Ngl this my first day, but that’s the feel I am getting.

While in comparison to newer dorms like Spring and Grand Gries seems like your worst nightmare but almost anyone who actually lived in Gries couldn't be happier. While communal bathrooms and showers can be annoying, Gries truly has the best community on campus. Most floors have open door polices which made meeting new people super easy and fun! Absolutely loved running up and down through the floors and saying hi to so many people. The dorms are honestly really nice and pretty spacious for a double. We had so much fun in the Walsh lounges watching movies and also doing homework. While the elevators broke down quite often, if led to a lot of humor (as long as you didn't live on the penthouse 16)!
