"The dorm itself is mid, especially since north campus ones are bigger with taller ceilings, but the experience of South campus makes up for it. Everything here such as lounges, one of the other south campus buildings does better, but hojo has a decent everything. TLDR: good not great"

"Bathroom for you, roommate and two suite-mates who live on the other side of the bathroom. You have to clean it yourselves. If both roommates loft, you can easily put desks underneath and have space for a futon and fridge between the two beds. Great place for a tv and hangout room."

"This is an all-girls dorm that's generally quieter than the other first-year dorms, I thought. It's connected to Graham, the all-boys dorm, and so in terms of keeping the sexes separate it's not all that effective (the doors separating Aycock from Graham are almost always open). There were really big common rooms between us which were definitely nice to have. Rooms are pretty basic but nice. I was on the top floor and it had really high ceilings and great closets, both of which I loved. Bathrooms were okay (but not having sink space sucks). No laundry room in the building; you have to walk to Stacy, which sucks. AMAZING location, so much better than the other first-year dorms (besides the other four in OCLQ): you can get to most of your classes – and the dining halls, libraries, etc. – in five or ten minutes, Coker Arboretum is right across the street, and Franklin St. is just a few minutes away too."
