"I lived here when the rooms only had 2 people in them for COVID. Having the closet was super nice because you were able to get some physical separation when you went to sleep. Fitting 3 people in there would make it feel cramped for sure but having your own bathroom definitely makes up for it."

"Jonas is definitely the #2 best freshman dorm, with River being #1. The private bathrooms are awesome, there’s lots of closet space and storage in the room, but the rooms themselves are a little cramped because of the space the bathroom takes up. Also, if your dorm is in the back of the building (odd numbers I believe) you get very little sunlight. The elevator is nice to have and the kitchens are good, but the community at Jonas sucks. Everyone keeps to themselves, so don’t expect to be making friends with your neighbors or floormates. "

"River is the most expensive dorm at Stevens and I'd say the location is the most convenient, since it's right next to 6th street. Very close to restaurants on the street and close to most classes. There are private bathrooms in this building, the only other buildings that have private bathrooms are castle point hall and jonas hall. I'd say the major downside is that because you are in suites, you're going to have more roommates, that you may or may not get along with. The suites are set up to house anywhere from about 3-6 people. River terrace is probably the best dorms but of course that comes with the monetary cost."
