  • Juniper Hall at Grand Canyon University

Rated 4.3 / 5 stars by 1 Grand Canyon University student

"DORM BATHS: I rated my dorm's "bathroom" 3 out of 5 stars only because my dorm's specific bathroom always had a weird smell coming from the sink drain...room 612 to be exact (and no matter how many times we got faculty into our room to fix it, it never went away). Other than that, Juniper Hall is a very comfortable living space and from my experience, the rest of the bathrooms aren't smelly haha! LOCATION: Juniper Hall and the other Grove Buildings are a decent ways away from central campus (8 minute walk / 3.5 minute scooter ride), but it's not too bad. Always leave 15 mins before class starts. BUILDING: The Juniper Hall building was built in 2015, so like I said earlier, it's not outdated. It consists of triple and double-occupancy dorms and usually only has freshmen living in them. I suggest living in the Grove (Juniper Hall, Willow Hall, Ironwood Hall, and Acacia Hall) if you're a freshman. You're close to restaurants m like Qdoba, Jamba, Canyon Pizza, Einstein Bagels, the Habit, and Training Table! "

  • Acacia Hall at Grand Canyon University

Rated 4.8 / 5 stars by 2 Grand Canyon University students

"If you are an incoming freshman, I recommend moving into Acacia Hall or any of the dorms in the Grove—Juniper, Willow, or Ironwood. These dorms are all occupied by freshmen, which makes it easier to make friends. The only downside is that Acacia is a bit far from the business building where some classes are held. However, it's only a 10-minute walk, so you'll be fine. I didn't have any problems with Acacia except for mold in the shower. But maintenance fixed it the next day. You have a pool, gym, store, amazon locker, and lots of recreational fields in the same area. "

  • Encanto Apartments at Grand Canyon University

Rated 4.8 / 5 stars by 1 Grand Canyon University student

"Encanto 516 - Room B PROS - close to Lopes way - Kept up well - close to mail center - close for CAM students - close to the arena - decent view depending on your room - pretty quite if you face the courtyard - great desk sizes (can fit two monitors, computer tower + extra space still) CONS - If you park across the bridge, you have to take the long way after 10pm (not that big of a deal but if you have groceries and stuff) - desk destroys your chair arms if you're not careful "
